Membership of the Association for the History of Glass is open to all. Members receive the newsletter, Glass News, preferential rates to study days and conferences, and access to resources through the members only website. You can also choose just to subscribe to Glass News.

All members are eligible to stand for board positions and help shape the future of glass
For Rolling Membership, you will be charged for 12 months. At the end of this period, the authorised payment method will be charged automatically for another 12 months. You do not need a PAYPAL account, simply click ‘Pay by Debit or Credit Card’.
*The Association for the History of Glass is a Registered Charity and is incorporated as a Company Limited by Guarantee. In the unlikely event of the Association going into liquidation, each Member may be required to pay up to 5.00 GBP towards any debts remaining. Glass News Subscribers are not liable for this.
One-Year Membership

For a One-Year Membership, you will be you will be charged £15 (GBP) for 12 months. You do not need a PAYPAL account, simply click ‘Pay by Debit or Credit Card’.
At the end of this period, you will be able to log-in to your account, but you will not be able to access any of the membership pages until you have renewed your membership.

Glass News Subscription
Open to all individuals, as well as institutional subscribers.

- Access to lots of resources through our website.
Glass News Subscribers are not eligible to stand for board positions.
You will be charged for 12 months. At the end of this period, the authorised payment method will be charged automatically for another 12 months. You do not need a PAYPAL account, simply click ‘Pay by Debit or Credit Card’.
Glass News Subscription is only available as an automatically renewing subscription. This subscription can be cancelled at any time by contacting us.
Please note: Glass News Subscribers can only be set up as a rolling subscription. If you have any issues or questions about this, please contact our treasurer.
Other FAQs
Why PayPal?
We take online payments through PayPal’s portal to best protect your privacy. This way, no one in the Association will ever have any financial details relating to you. This makes things safer and easier for both us and you (see our Privacy Policy).
You do not have to have your own PayPal account to use this. Simply choose the option ‘Pay by Debit or Credit Card’.
I use a different email for my AHG account and my PayPal, what do I do?
Because your email is part of how the system identifies you, if you pay through PayPal with a different email address, there might be a problem with the system matching you up. Don’t worry! Just pop an email to our Treasurer (treasurer@historyofglass.org.uk), and your payment address will be linked to your account.
I’m a renewing member, what do I do?
If you have an account: please first log in to your account so we don’t end up with duplicate accounts for you. Once logged-in, you should receive a prompt to pay, which will take you through to PayPal. If you do not receive this prompt, simply navigate to this page and chose the payment button.
Once you have paid, please return to the website and chose Edit Profile to check that your details are up to date.
I can’t log-on to my account/I’ve forgotten my password and it won’t reset?
