Call For Papers
Recent years have seen increasing recognition of the importance of glass vessels and beads as indicators of movement across along the various Eurasian routes which are sometimes termed “The Silk Roads”. This conference aims to bring recent research to the attention of a wider international audience and to address current gaps in knowledge, including but not limited to glass production, technology, distribution, trade and recycling in Central Asia and the neighbouring regions. Abstracts of approximately 200 words should be sent to events@historyofglass.org.uk and to be received not later than extended date of 10 February 2026.
